New lights corals not the same
« on: March 22, 2013, 12:39:56 »
I just changed my lighting form t5 to MH 3-250. It is on a150. Some of my corals are not  extending the same. I  step the amount of lighting each day.  Any help would be great.

You should be fine. The corals just need some time to acclimate to the new lights. That's my .02

I wouls slow down how fast your acclimating then.  You may still be shocking them too fast.  Give them a few days or more between giving them more light.

If they are drawing up it generally is because of more light, definately give them some time. Slower is better.

IMHO I would give them at least a week between each ramp up.
