Inherited corals what are they????

A friend of mine decided to take down his nano tank and go freshwater.  That being said I inherited the live rock And a few small coral pieces.  I am not sure what I got. I was holding the group could help me out so I know that I have and make sure I have the right water flow and the right height in the tank for what they are.

Attempt 2 uploading pictures.  First one I think it is a leather of some type.  What do people think?
