Exo Terra Terrarium 12x12x18
« on: October 07, 2013, 15:33:10 »
I've had this for about a year now.  The only thing that was ever kept in it were mantids, and it is basically brand new.  I just don't keep any reptiles or land inverts anymore and want to free up some space around the house.  Foam rock on the back of the tank for easy climbing and deco.  Locking glass front doors, screen top, and waterproof for the bottom 4 inches.  Comes with substrate (Fir Tree Bark) as shown in pic, and water bowl.  Asking $50 or open to trades.  Any questions just ask =D

Nothing concrete yet, so $40 or will trade for frags/anemone depending on what it is.  I still have a lot of room in my tank :)

Yeah, there are a decent amount of people who actually use them for dart frogs.  They either put water in the bottom with things for them to crawl out onto, or they put a large number of plants in the terrarium itself to help retain the humidity.  I'm not sure if you are familiar with their husbandry, but you need to keep humidity levels relatively high.  It could be a simple set up though if you just wanted to mist them every day, and cover up half of the top of the cage to keep water from getting out.
