Bluegill babies????

I looked at my pond today after getting home from work & I was just about to throw some food in for the goldfish & 2 bluegill then I saw something that surprised me.
I swear I saw a baby bluegill? Do they reproduce in a backyard pond? He looks to be about 2 in long & I know I have seen small fish in there the last week or so but I just thought they were goldfish that aren't gold

bluegill are prolific breeders. try to net some out. if they are young bluegill you will be able to tell. i have had the goldfish spawn before, the young never survived the winter.

They are like convict cichlids...they would breed in a teacup if you let them
