It is a long drive for me from Toledo. I plan to go to the CORA swap and a swap in Michigan this fall. I may make this, but would like to have an idea of what people are bringing and have pre-arranged trades if possible. Will there be such a thread? Where? I do not recall seeing one for last year's swap so I did not go.

we dont plan to use the fragtrader. there is a frag swap forum on cincyreef. If there is something you are looking for or have to trade, post it there. I am sure once the discussion has started it will take off. My tank is fairly new, but i will have some zoa frags and a couple really pretty acro frags. one of the acro colonies is purple and green. the other is green with green polyps. i will try to post some pics tomorrow night.

In all honesty, I have attended swaps that use fragswapper and those that don't. I much, much prefer fragswapper. It is much easier to track and not search through a thread looking for people that requested stuff and worring if someone got my request. PM's are also a pain. I like to save them until the swap is over. My pm box has a tendancy to get full fast.

I understand what you are saying but found it hard to meet up with someone I did not know to complete the trade. We will have tables set up for individuals to place their items on for all to see. I like taking my items and then trading with whoever attends.

columbus is a great swap. the columbus swap is a little larger than the cincy swap (its been around a little longer). there will be a lot more hobbiests selling/trading frags than cincy. verper is going over saturday.

the cincy swap will have more vendors than the cora swap. at least according to cora's site. not to take anything away from cora. i am going to be there saturday as well.

Mark your calendars for Oct 21, CincyReef Frag Swap! These things are a lot of fun and don't cost too much to go. Plus there are a ton of other hobbiest there to discuss aquarium related things.
