There is 12 fish, a sea cucumber, 4 starfish, 2 cleaner shrimp, 1 clam, and LOTS of different SPS, LPS, softies, etc. I rotate my feeding. One day is flake food (Omega 1 Marine Flake). I give them a big pinch of that 2 times on that day. The next day I give them my own blend of fish food ( I shut the pumps off for about 15 minutes for this one, but leave 1 Koralia going.), and this is what I put in it: phytoplankton, blood worms, cyclopease, oyster feast, oyters, squid, scallops, red and green seaweed, garlic, brine shrimp, and mysis shrimp. ( I think that's everything.) I make it in batches every 6 months and it seems to feed everything in the tank. Then, the next day is back to flake food. When I feed my blend, I see that even the mushrooms are fat with food and the zoas are closed up from eating.
JD- I didn't realize that it was going to be that big either. I had to modify my sump to fit it in. That was one of the first things I commented on when I opened it up, and the reason for posting measurements. ( Just in case someone else was looking to buy one, they could plan better with a size.)
jjoos- Jd is right about the reason for the bubble plate. that is one of the reasons that I chose this model. Here is a straight down shot of it when it was new.
Anyway, Thanks for the comments, guys.
